Shillong, Dec 6: Junior United of Patarim came from a goal down to beat 7 Trep FC of Smit 2-1 in the first quarterfinal of the Open to All Football Knockout Tournament 2021, organised by the Seng Samla Shnong Umsning Patarim.
7 Trep took the lead through Bishar Kharumnuid in the 21st minute but Junior Utd came back into the contest thanks to a goal from Franklin Lymphuid (59′) and then claimed the lead in stoppage time via substitute Liverius Mynsong (90’+4) who had just come onto the pitch a few minutes before.
7 Trep’s Apborlang Kurbah was the man-of-the-match.
Tomorrow, the second quarterfinal will be between Lamare FC and Dream XI of Pyrdiwah at 1PM.
