Shillong, Mar 19: The Ferdy School of Martial Arts’ students won 22 medals between them at the 19th Meghalaya State Level Wushu Championship 2022 last week.
The championship had been held in Madanrting, here, and was organised by the Meghalaya Wushu Association.
Altogether, trainees at the FSMA, run by Ferdinand Suchiang, won eight gold, five silver and nine bronze medals.
They were Fedrick Khongsit, Obadaia Kelphung, Mewanaibok Kharbuli, Duren Mena, Dorian Dead M Nongrum, Iarihun Nongkhlaw, Rifiness Warjri, Lateijanai Lyngdoh Nongbsap (all gold), Fivestar Bareh, Bantiplang Khongwir, Sangiovanni Bho, Rayian M Nongrum, Kaugia Yasmine Talukdar (all silver), Debory Lalrohnem Sungte, Ricky Mukhim, Donbok Nongrum, R Chowdhury, Juh pa u juh Nongtdu, Onesimus M Malngiang, Decent Sungoh, Marvisha Sohklet and Palaremdor Syiem (all bronze).
