Shillong, Jun 2: Cricket Lovers defeated Friends United CC by six wickets to reach the final of the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association T20 Tournament 2022 today.
Friends United began the day by electing to bat first after winning the toss but were all out for 122 in 17.2 overs. Nangkiew Moore struck 43 off 35 deliveries while player-of-the-match Rahul Prem Rai (pictured) produced figures of 3/25. Mehraf Sarkar also claimed 3/24.
Rohit Kumar Yadav then hit an unbeaten 49 from 50 balls to steer Cricket Lovers to victory in 19 overs did the loss of four wickets. Winningstar Khongjoh contributed 25 from 19.
