Shillong, May 6: Nativity Higher Secondary School performed brilliantly and were crowned as Overall Team Champions of the Chief Minister’s District Level Inter-School Athletic Meet 2023 for South West Khasi Hills yesterday.
The three-day event, which ran from 3rd to 5th May, was held at the Saitsnad Playground, Mawlangwir.
Nativity HSS were the Best Team in both the boys’ and girls’ categories.
Jakrem Presbyterian HSS were the runners-up in the boys’ division and Maharam Government HSS in the girls’.
Presbyterian HSS Mawlangwir won the award for Best Disciplined School, while Maharam Government HSS were the best at the march past.

U-14 boys – Damewanshwa Marngar (Maharam Government HSS)
U-14 girls – Ibandariakor Nongsiej (Nativity HSS)
U-16 boys – Waiborlang Syiemlieh (Rising Secondary School)
U-16 girls – Latympang Lyngdoh Marshilong (Nativity HSS)
U-18 boys – Batskhemlang Thongnirit (Sngap Syiem College)
U-18 girls – Lavinia Lyngkhoi (Maharam Government HSS)
