Shillong, Sep 25: Shillong Lajong FC have revealed their fourth foreign signing ahead of the I-League 2023-24 season.
Takuto Miki is a 20-year-old Japanese striker who has played his professional football in his native country while also making short appearances in Croatia and Mongolia.
He is the first player from an Asian Football Confederation country signed by Lajong this season.
The club earlier this month announced three foreign signings – two from Brazil (a defender and a midfielder) and a striker from Senegal.
I-League clubs are allowed to sign six foreigners (at least one from an AFC country) but can only have four on the field at any one time.
