Shillong, Oct 15: 11 Deilang FC defeated Nongkhroh SC 3-2 but only after having to overturn a two-goal deficit in the 8th Invitation Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC, today.
The thriller saw Rahbor Synnah (15′) and Decidirius Pyrtuh (31′) put Nongkhroh ahead 2-0 in the first half before 11 Deilang fought back.
Niki Pakma (46′) struck first before Khadle Pala (57′) equalised and Shanbor Kharsohnoh (75′) found the winner.
Shanbor was named Player of the Match.
The next fixture will be on Thursday between Jalapang SC and Evergreen SC at 2PM. This will be the first pre-quarterfinal of the tournament.
