Shillong, Jun 26: Phasdonlang Hynniewta scored the first hat-trick of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2025 in a 4-1 victory for Mawphlang over Laitlulong in Group D at the at the SSA Stadium at First Ground here today.

The other matches saw Lummawbah defeat Nongkohlew 3-1 and Pommura edge Mawpdang 1-0 in Group B.

Phasdonlang (18′, 33′, 66′, 80’+3) registered all four of Mawphlang’s goals, while Bankerlang Khardewsaw (45′) produced Laitlulong’s lone strike. Phasdonlang also becomes the lead scorer of the season so far. Mawphlang, meanwhile, jumped into the lead of Group D; they now have 6 points from two outings.

Earlier, Lummawbah pulled out a three-goal lead via Balajied Rangslang (14′), Kevin C Royne (35′) and Fredy Ryntathiang (57′) before Joshwa Mukhim (64′) pulled one back for Nongkohlew.

And in the morning match, Pommura squeezed out a 1-0 win against 10-man Mawpdang thanks to a 24th minute penalty converted by captain Lekiwao Mukhim. Mawpdang lost the services of Dapjingkyrmen Kharumnuid in the second half for a double booking but Pommura weren’t able to take advantage of their superior number of players.
