Shillong, Aug 25: Mawpat claimed their second win of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2025 with a 1-0 result against Lumshyiap at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Riborlang Dkhar was the scorer of the lone goal in the Group A match, which came in the 58th minute.
Mawpat had defeated Umpling in their first match just three days ago. On the other hand, this was Lumshyiap’s first real match as their scheduled first encounter was abandoned due to heavy rain and waterlogging.
