Shillong, Nov 30: Mylliem Lum defeated Teer Counter FC 4-2 in a tiebreaker in the 4th Shortimai Knockout Football Tournament in Smit yesterday.

Full time had ended 2-2 before Mylliem Lum won the penalty shootout to progress to the quarterfinals.

Mylliem Lum twice held the lead – via Ever Nongspung (12′, 63′) – only for Teer Counter FC to equalise on both occasions through Wanlam Kharpran (32′) and an own goal (70′).

The next match will be held on 8th December between Smit SC and Meghalaya Police at 1PM. This will be the last of the pre-quarterfinals.
