Shillong, Apr 10: Two second half goals gave Shillong Lajong a 2-0 win in the Indian Football League 2025-26 against Namdhari FC at the latter’s home ground in Ludhiana today.
Everbrightson Mylliempdah (53′) and Ephraim Lalremtluanga (57′) scored within minutes of each other early on in the second session in what was Lajong’s last away game of Stage 1 of IFL 2025-26.

Victory lifted Lajong up one spot to third position, now with 14 points from eight games. However, they might drop back down to fourth if Sreenidi Deccan win tomorrow against Rajasthan United.
Lajong coach Birendra Thapa made four changes to the starting XI from the loss at Dempo three days ago. Ranit Sarkar made an appearance in goal, taking the place of Siwel Rymbai for the first time this season. Kitboklang Khyriem, Ephraim Lalremtluanga and Abelson Jachi also started in place of Samuel Muansang, Tremiki Lamurong and Gladdy Kharbuli.
After five consecutive matches on the road, going back to 19th March, the Reds will return home for the last fixture of Stage 1 when they host Aizawl FC on 18th April.
SLFC’s away form has been brilliant this season, with three wins, one draw and just the one defeat.
