Shillong, Jun 29: Lamlynti came from a goal down to win 3-1 against Mawlynrei in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division 2026 here today.
The early kick-off, also in Group A, saw Umiew Maw U Sam and Nongumlong play out a goalless draw.
Later, after a deadlocked first half, Dawan Mawlong (50′) put Mawlynrei into the lead but Chandy Suting (52′) cancelled that out for Lamlynti just two minutes later.
Monish Mani (65′) and Arban Sohshang (73′) then added further goals to give Lamlynti the win. Matches in the Third Division are of 80 minutes’ duration.
