Shillong, Aug 4: Today was the seventh day of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2026 in Khliehriat.
Pool D saw Borghat SCSC defeat Nongsning Youth SC 2-1. Borghat scored early through Jonest Suchiang (3′) and then again via Samuel Shylla (75′). Lamphrang Pdang (77′) almost immediately pulled a goal back for Nongsning but they couldn’t avoid defeat.
Meanwhile, in Pool E, Dongumsngad SC Byndihati edged Pala SC 1-0 courtesy a 2nd minute goal from Firstwell Marwein.
Lastly, in Pool F, Umstain SSCC were 7-1 victors over Umrasong SSCC. It was the latter who scored first thanks to Teilang Rupsi (3′) but Umstain came back like a tsunami, with goals by Rumiky Niang (25′, 58′), Pyrkhat Pynkhlong (29′), Daemitre Iadong (53′, 68′), Ricky Niang (62′) and Teimon Suchiang (80’+1).
