Shillong, Sep 24: Chiehruphi SYWSC edged Thangskai Tiger SC 1-0 in the Super Division of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association in Khliehriat today.
In the First Division, Rymbai Iawpynsing SC and Lakadong Umlatdoh SCSC drew 2-2 in Pool C.
Both teams held the lead, with Lakadong Umlatdoh scoring first through Phrangsngi Pakem (19′). Iawpynsing then scored twice on either side of half time, first via Moneshwar Mohela (45’+2) and then Armanki Sympli (49′). Sampow Rangmei (81′) levelled for Lakadong Umlatdoh and 2-2 was how the game ended.
Later Meshwa Lapasam (39′) scored the only goal in Chiehruphi’s win.
