Shillong, Jan 18: Umphrup (blue) and Nongkrem (white) played out a 1-1 draw in Group B of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
Wanlambok Kharumnuid headed in the ball off a corner kick for Umphrup in the 34th minute.
Roshan Thapa then equalised for Nongkrem in the 78th minute.
Nongkrem had been relegated from the First Division after the 2019 season, while Umphrup were promoted to the Second Division after finishing as runners-up in the Third in 2019.
