The tournament was held from 10th to 13th June in Himachal Pradesh.
According to a press release from the Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association (MSKA), Diengdoh won his quarterfinal bout against a kickboxer from New Delhi, but wasn’t able to reach the final after losing in the last-four to the eventual gold medallist.
Diengdoh was accompanied by fellow Meghalaya kickboxers Hameshaniah Suiam and Edward Mawthoh.
The MSKA further stated that the violent confrontation in Shillong at the start of the month as well as school exams prevented more Meghalaya kickboxers from taking part in the Himachal tournament.
