Shillong, May 16: Five Meghalaya boys – Sudhir Sahani, Gavineal Marpna, Josiah Momin, Waldo A Sangma and Mritunjay Bharali – have been chosen to attend National Cricket Academy camp in Ananthpur, Andhra Pradesh.
The five from the state are part of 25 selected for the camp by the All India Junior selection committee, which is headed by Debasis Mohanty and which met in Guwahati yesterday. That meeting was chaired by the North East and Bihar Zonal Committee convener Naba Bhattacharjee. Chairmen of all the member states’ U-16 selection committees attended the meeting.
The camp will run from 24th June to 18th July.
