Shillong, Jun 29: Laitlulong ended their Fourth Division campaign with a 2-0 victory over Lumpyngngad at Second Ground, Polo, today.
S Jana scores the first of Laitlulong’s goals in the 54th minute, with the second by F Malngiang coming in the 61st.
Laitlulong thus end with two wins, one draw and one defeat and with seven points in the bag. Lumpyngngad, meanwhile, bow out with four straight defeats.
On Monday, in Group A, Nongrah are scheduled to face Umsohsun at 4PM.
