Shillong, Jul 8: Shillong Lajong continued their imperious run in the U-18 Shillong Premier League with a 2-0 win over fourth-placed Mawkhar at Third Ground, Polo, today.
Meanwhile, at the JN Stadium, Lawsohtun came from a goal down to beat Marbisu 2-1 and move off the bottom of the points table.
Lajong’s ninth win on the trot was brought about through goals by Glennys Lynrah (48’) and Dajied Wanshnong (90’). This was the first time in seven games that league leaders Lajong didn’t score in the first half.
