Shillong, Oct 14: Langsning and Laban were involved in a topsy-turvy 3-3 draw in the Shillong Premier League at the JN Stadium here today.

These two sides had played out a goalless draw in the first leg on 1st October.

Banteilang Lyngdoh scored the fastest goal of the season, putting Langsning into the lead in the seventh minute following a Tremiki Lamurong assist. A foul on Bickyson Kharkongor gave Laban a free-kick, which Asito Krose converted in the 34th with an excellent set-piece.

Twenty seconds into the second half Langsning were awarded a penalty after Preciousland Kharbhih was fouled in the box and Kynsaibor Lhuid converted it in the 48th minute to put Langsning 2-1 up.

Laban then scored off two corners, first by Kharkongor (57′) and then by Suman Lepcha (82′). The latter’s effort came immediately after Khrawkupar Tamu was denied by the upright, with Lepcha latching on to the rebound.

Leading the match didn’t last long for Laban, however, and they were denied a second victory by a powerful strike by Ksankupar Khongmalai from just inside the box four minutes later.

Tomorrow Nongrim Hills are scheduled to face Ryntih at 3PM.
