Shillong, Mar 10: Seven Brothers became the champions of Bhoirymbong SCSC’s 6th Invitation Football Tournament after defeating Niaw Wasa 2-0 in the final today.
Daniel Pyngrope (55′) and Shanbok Nongsiej (67′) scored the two goals for the victors. Teibor Siangshai was named man-of-the-match in the final.
As champions Seven Brothers received a trophy and cheque of Rs 2 lakh, while Niaw Wasa took home Rs 1 lakh. Shillong Lajong were named Best Disciplined Team.
