Shillong, Oct 21: Shillong Labet travelled to Kohima on 16th October for an exhibition match versus a combined team from Nagaland.
The match was a part of the final day of events of the 3rd edition of the Women’s Basketball Tournament, organised by Trinity Vision Club of Kohima.
Shillong Labet also organised a coaching clinic for over 60 players under the guidance of the Labet coaches, who are certified FIBA & WABC basketball coaches.
“We would like to thank Trinity Vision Club, Nagaland Basketball Association and the Meghalaya Basketball Association for their support in making this visit a success. We look forward to working closely with all stakeholders of the sport in the North East in developing the game of basketball and women’s basketball in particular,” Shillong Labet said in a release.
