Shillong, Nov 8: Nongrah and Mawtawar won today’s Group A matches in the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division at Polo Ground here.
The first game saw Nongrah easily deal with Lawmali Pyllun, winning the contest 3-0. Wandaplang Wankhar (4′) and Rocky Kharkongor (8′) scored in under 10 minutes of the start, while Kynsaibor Wankhar (49′) added the third goal in the second half.
Later, Mawtawar edged Lumparing 1-0 with the solitary goal provided by Jerry Khongsit.
