Shillong, Mar 21: Four kickboxers under North-Eastern Hill University will participate in the All India Inter University Kickboxing (Women’s) Championship, to be held in Uttar Pradesh.
The four are Lorenza Songthiang of Shillong College, Satisfy Syngkon of Thomas Jones Synod College, Jowai (both of the Meghalaya Association of Kickboxing Organisations), Susi Disiar of Seng Khasi College and Ibadarishisha Mukhim of Sankardev College (both of the Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association).
The team, led by Vishal Rai, team manager and coach of the MSKA, left Shillong today.
The championship will run from 24th to 26th March.
MAKO, which will be celebrating its silver jubilee this year, and the MSKA wished the kickboxers success in the event.
