Shillong, May 20: St Paul’s Higher Secondary School’s total of 12 gold, four silver and 12 bronze medals saw them named as overall champions of the District Level Inter School Athletics Meet in Ri-Bhoi yesterday.
The three-day meet began on Tuesday and was organised by the office of the District Sports Officer, Bobby L Nongbet, at Nongpoh. Twenty-two schools took part.
Jirang MLA Sosthenes Sohtun was the chief guest on the final day, with the District School Education Officer Paidalin L Nonglait as the guest of honour.
