Shillong, Dec 24: Meghalaya were held to a 0-0 draw by Sikkim in their Group 5 match of the Men’s National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy in Bhubaneshwar today.

Five yellow cards were shown by the referee during the game, four to Sikkim players and one to Meghalaya’s Fullmoon Mukhim.

In the group’s other matches, Odisha thrashed Andaman & Nicobar Islands 7-0, while Telangana beat Pondicherry 5-1.

The six group toppers along with three best second-placed teams will qualify for the final round. Railways and Services will get direct entry along with the hosts, however.

Meghalaya will next take on Telangana on 26th December.
