Shillong, Feb 14: Pomshutia CC defeated Cricket Smit on the third day of the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association’s 2nd District League T20 Cricket Tournament 2023 today.
Pomshutia won the toss and chose to bat first, with Shembhalang Pyngrope hitting a run-a-ball 55 in his team’s total of 145/5 in 20 overs. Bakyrpang Nongdhar bagged 2/24 for the bowling side.
In reply, Cricket Smit were restricted to 108/9 in their allotted overs. Ringjingshai Lyngshiang was the top scorer with 25 from 19 deliveries while Provinius Massar claimed 3/23.
This gave victory to Pomshutia by 37 runs.
Pyngrope was named Player of the Match for his fine half-century.
