Shillong, Jul 29: Rympei Pip FC won the 1st Veterans Cup in Wahiajer today by beating Friends United 1-0 in the final.
The only goal of the game was scored by former professional footballer Marlangki Suting in the 36th minute.
A total of 16 teams from various parts of the state took part in the tournament.
The champions were awarded Rs 30,000 and the runners-up Rs 20,000.
