Shillong, Aug 2: These are the results of the Second Division League 2023 football tournament, organised by the Pyndengumiong District Sports Association of Eastern West Khasi Hills, at Madan Dommawlum today.
Mission Braveheart SC held off Nongrang SC for a 2-1 victory in the first match of the day. Andrew Wahlang (33′) and Lawanphrang L Mawnai (52′) scored for Mission Braveheart before Bashemlad Ryntathiang (79′) pulled one back late in the game.
In the second contest, Youth SS&CC were also 2-1 victors over Souls SC.
Here, Elbornstar L Kyllang (16′) netted first for Youth SS&CC and Firstborn L Mawlong (37′) second. Sandwiched in between was a goal by Souls’ Balshestar Rani (20′).
