Shillong, Aug 6: Madan S&CC and Lumpyngngad SC won their respective Group A matches of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division at Third Ground, Polo, on Thursday, while both Group B games on Friday ended in draws.
Madan S&CC blazed past Diliengiem YSCWA 4-0 in the first match on Thursday, with the goals scored by (first names only provided) Phermanbha (21′), Emanbha (35′) and Arbandelness (59′, 70′).
In the second fixture, Lumpyngngad edged Iatyllilang SC 1-0 with a Freedy Jonsoi (60′) goal proving to be the difference.
The next day, Mawkasiang SC and Madanrting SC played out a 1-1 draw, while it was 0-0 between Kharang SC and Laitumkhrah SC.
Donald Roy Suting (19′) and Nicholes Kshiar (51′) scored for Mawkasiang and Madanrting respectively.
