Shillong, Aug 31: Amarnath Sharma tasted double glory at the 16th edition of Meghalaya Billiards & Snooker State championship by winning the billiards and snooker titles at the event, which concluded on Tuesday at the Shillong Club premises.
Altogether, 48 players took part in the championship.
Taufique Ali was the runner-up in both categories.
The pair will represent the state at the National Games and National Billiards and Snooker Championship, scheduled to be held between November and December this year in Madhya Pradesh.
