Shillong, Sep 5: Iongshiwiat FC reached the semifinals of the 7th Invitation Wahiajer Football Tournament 2023 by beating Brothers United FC 5-4 on penalties at Wahiajer Stadium yesterday.
Neither side were able to score a goal in normal time, which necessitated the shootout.
Iongshiwiat’s Wadajied Ryngkhlem was named Player of the Match for a good performance.
The next and the last quarterfinal will be played today between Jalapang SC and Ummulong SC at 2PM.
