Shillong, Oct 11: The Meghalaya Golf Promoters’ Society has named four golfers who will represent the state at the National Games this year.
The two male golfers are Johnwell G Momin (professional category) and Jonathan Iawphniaw (amateur), while the female golfers are Daphisha Phanbuh Shullai (professional) and Teesta Rawat (amateur).
They were chosen following selection trials in September and October at the Shillong Golf Course, the MGPS informed yesterday.
Although Goa are the hosts of the National Games 2023, cycling and golf will both be conducted in New Delhi.
Golf will be held at the Delhi Golf Club from 5th to 9th November.
