Shillong, Feb 6: Shillong Lajong FC lost 1-0 to Football 4 Change Academy of Manipur in the All India Football Federation’s U-17 Youth League at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
This was the start of SLFC’s second leg campaign. They had met F4CA before and that match had ended in an exciting draw.
Janggunhao Khongsai scored the lone goal in the 81st minute today.
This was the third Lajong match in a row that ended 1-0 – they had lost to Harisinga Town Club and then beat Aizawl FC by the same margin.
Lajong are fourth in the five-team Group C with 5 points from five games. They will next play NorthEast United FC on Thursday at First Ground, Polo, at 2PM.
