Shillong, Apr 4: A talent hunt programme will be organised under the Khelo India Rising Talent Hunt (KIRTI-MyBharat) where youngsters will be assessed and given a chance to train at state of the art sports facilities in the country.
The Sports Authority of India Training Centre at NEHU will assess sportspersons in three disciplines – athletics, boxing and football – on 8th, 9th and 10th April 2024.
Registration for the talent hunt will be from 8AM to 12PM and evaluation will take place until 5:30PM on all three days.
The assessment will feature physical fitness tests on scientific lines and sports-specific tests based on skill tailored to evaluate the potential in athletes of all ages, a press release stated yesterday.
