Shillong, Aug 3: Lumparing SC started their Shillong Sports Association Third Division 2024 campaign with a huge 5-0 victory over Krang SC at First Ground, Polo, here today.
The Group B game saw Sholinstar Syngkli (18′) score first, followed by Riskhem Syiem (45’+1) just before half time.
Sholinstar (72′) got his brace in the second half, followed by two late goals by Gilbert Nongneng (85′, 87′) to seal the result in Lumparing’s favour.
The next match will take place on 6th August between Mawkriah West SC and Umpling SC at 1PM in Group C at the same venue.
