Shillong, Aug 4: Meghalaya footballer Sunalinda Iawren (pictured bottom right) and her new club Kemp FC are riding high at the moment in the Karnataka Women’s Super Division, having won all four of their matches so far.

They are at the top of the table in second place behind Kickstart FC on goal difference.

Sunalinda hasn’t scored a goal yet but her club haven’t needed her to as Kemp have racked up big wins, including a 5-0 result against Misaka United yesterday.

Misaka was Sunalinda’s former club and she had appeared for them in the Indian Women’s League last year.

Sundalinda has also played her football for Mawlai SC, having won the Shillong Sports Association’s Women’s League twice with them and she was the Player of the Final last year. She has also represented Meghalaya’s sub-junior and senior women’s teams and was called up by the All India Football Federation for trials for its U-17 women’s team back in 2019.
