Shillong, Nov 16: Nongdawah SC reached the quarterfinal of the 8th Invitation Knockout Football Tournament, organised by Wahiajer SC, on the back of a huge 7-2 second round win against Ladthalaboh SC today.
Banker Mynsong (32′, 66′), Dibinroy Nongspung (55′, 61′), Wallamsuk Nongkhlaw (70′), Kyrmen Nongpluh (74′) and Twin Syngkong (78′) were the scorers for Nongdawah. Lammida-o Dkhar (37′, 79′) struck for Ladthadlaboh.
Dibinroy was named Player of the Match.
The next pre-quarterfinal will take place on 19th November between 11 Deilang FC and Chaphrang Iong i FC at 1:30PM.
