Shillong, Dec 11: Sanfida Nongrum’s four goals helped Laitkor SC to a 7-0 victory over PFR Academy in the inaugural match of the Shillong Sports Association’s 3rd Women’s Football League 2024 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Sanfida scored in the 5th, 19th, 34th and 50th minutes of the 70-minute Group A match.
Laitkor, who were runners-up in the first two editions of the tournament, added further goals through Tracy Rympei (6′) and Daiamon Makroh (27′, 65′).
There will be three matches tomorrow:
Group B – Rangdajied United FC vs Lumparing SC, 10AM, First Ground
Group A – Madanrting SC vs Kharang SC, 12:15PM, First Ground
Group B – Smit SC vs Nongrim Hills SC, 2:30PM, First Ground
