Shillong, Jan 14: Climbers from the Meghalaya Sport Climbing & Mountaineering Association claimed six medals at the recently concluded North East Sport Climbing Championship.
The event took place in Roing, Arunachal Pradesh, from 9th to 11th January.
Kyrmenskhem Lyngdoh won two gold in speed climbing and lead climbing and a silver in bouldering in the junior boys’ category.
Pynkmenlang Lyngdoh took silver in speed climbing and Dadapbiang Lyngdoh a bronze in bouldering, both in the sub-junior girls’ category.
Hamebanker Nongsiej also took bronze in speed climbing in the sub-junior boys’ category.
