Shillong, Feb 14: Shillong Lajong FC will host Sreenidi Deccan FC in a Round 14 match of the I-League 2024-25 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, this evening. Kick-off will be at 7PM.

Lajong won their last match against Namdhari FC five days ago but the local side have been inconsistent throughout this season – they’ve only been able to win back-to-back games once, by beating Real Kashmir FC and then SC Bengaluru in January.

SLFC and Sreenidi Deccan have already met in 2024-25, just last month in fact, when the two sides played out an entertaining 10-goal draw.

Lajong are currently sixth in the standings with 19 points from 13 games, while Sreenidi are ninth with 16 points from 13 outings. The Reds would move up to fifth place if they win today, which must be their target against a lower-ranked club.

This will also be Lajong’s last home match this month – they will be on the road for six consecutive away matches after this.
