Shillong, Jul 24: Moonongtdu SC and Musniang Rim SC qualified for the quarterfinals of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Third Division 2025 by winning their respective Round of 16 matches in Khliehriat today.
Moonongtdu SC were involved in a deadlocked match against Nongsning YSC that ended 0-0 in the first match of the day. Moonongtdu then won the resulting penalty shootout 4-2.
Later, Musniang Rim pipped Wahsanphaw SC Sohkymphor 1-0 with Remingson Rymbai (64′) scoring the lone goal.
The last two Third Division pre-quarterfinal matches will be played on 28th July.
