Shillong, Jul 28: The East Khasi Hills Basketball Association held its annual general meeting on Saturday where office bearers were elected for the 2025-28 term.
The President of the EKHDBA remains East Shillong MLA and state cabinet minsiter Ampareen Lyngdoh. The incumbent Working President James Lyngwa also stays in that role.
Symper Ryntathiang takes over as General Secretary, replacing Dulon Banjop Kharsati, who is now a Vice-President. Ten Executive Members were also elected.
“The EKHBA extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the newly elected office bearers and looks forward to a dynamic and fruitful term under their leadership. The association remains steadfast in its commitment to the promotion and development of basketball in East Khasi Hills,” a release issued ny Ryntathiang said.
