Shillong, Sep 1: PFR Academy took provisional first place in Group C of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2025 with a 4-1 beating of Mawryngkneng at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
The other match, also in Group C, was a 0-0 draw between Sohryngkham and Tynring.
Endy Suting (8′), Peter Strong Lamare (16′, 48′) and Edelbert Khongshun (34′) scored for PFR, while Mawryngkneng scored one through Mebalabiang Myrboh, also in the 34th minute according to the SSA’s official results.
PFR now have 6 points, ahead of Sohryngkham (5), Umphrup, Mawryngkneng (4 each), Tynring (2) and Sohiong (0).

Group A – Mylliem Lum vs Lumshyiap, 11:15AM, SSA Stadium
