Shillong, Sep 3: Mawpat continued their dream season with a 3-0 victory against Jongksha in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Wanlambor Masynting (36′), Thompson Lyngdoh (59′) and Kardilius Kharkongor (88′) provided the goals.
This was Mawpat’s third straight win this season and they are back up to first place in the points table, though second-placed Mylliem Lum have a game in hand.
Jongksha are tied on points, goal difference and goals scored with Umpling but, crucially, have head-to-head advantage and are thus placed in third.
