Shillong, Oct 10: Nongkseh crushed Lawsohtun 9-0 in a lopsided match of the Shillong Sports Association First Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today. Seven goals came in the second half alone.
It started off with an own goal conceded in the 32nd minute before the goals flowed from Nongkseh players Shano Tariang (45’+2, 60′), Banpynkhrawnam Nongkhlaw (49′), Kynsaibor Lhuid (54′, 84′), Hardy Cliff Nongbri (70′), Khrawkupar Jana (81′) and Chesterpaul Lyngdoh (83′).
Nongkseh had won their opener 6-0 against Pohkseh and now have 6 points, while Lawsohtun are still yet to get off the mark after they lost 2-0 to Nongthymmai in their first match of the season.
