Shillong, Oct 14: Nongkseh claimed another scalp today in the Shillong Sports Association First Division 2025 by defeating Nongkrem 6-0 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here.
Chesterpaul Lyngdoh (44′), Kitboklang Pale (45’+4), Shano Tariang (48′, 69′) and Khrawkupar Jana (85′, 90’+2) were the scorers in another one-sided win for Nongkseh.
This is their third straight victory and they are on top of the standings with 9 points, tied with Meghalaya Police but with a healthier goal difference (+21 to +10).
Nongkseh have not conceded yet and average 7 goals per match scored. They’ve singlehandedly accounted for 42% of the 50 goals scored in the First Division so far.
