Shillong, Oct 30: Nongkseh made it six wins in six matches by trouncing Mawkhar 5-0 in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division 2025 at the SSA Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here today.

One goal was scored by Banpynkhrawnam Nongkhlaw (6′), Chesterpaul Lyngdoh (24′), Baiaikara Swer (55′), Mebankhraw Wahlang (65′) and Kitboklang Pale (75′) for mighty Nongkseh.
This result also continues Nongkseh’s clean sheet streak – they have yet to concede a single goal with two-thirds of their First Division campaign gone. Incidentally, this happened to be the first match all season in which Mawkhar has not been able to score a goal.
The win also pushed Nongkseh back to first place in the standings. They are tied with Meghalaya Police on 18 points but have not met yet, so goal difference is used to separate them and by this measure Nongkseh are way out in front.
Tomorrow’s fixture:
Lawsohtun vs Nongrah, 1:15PM
