Shillong, Dec 1: Rymbai Shkenshynriah Sc defeated Diengshynrum SC 2-0 in the second qualifier in Khliehriat today and reach the final of the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Super Division 2025.
Ribiang Dkhar (45′) and Raplangki Lyngdoh (90’+5) were the scorers. Raplangki (pictured right) received his second consecutive Player of the Match award on the back of this performance.
R Shkenshynriah will meet Sutnga SSCC in the final where they will compete for the 5th Kyrmen Shylla Contribution Trophy. Sutnga had beaten Diengshynrum in the first qualifier on 23rd November. R Shkenshynriah defeated Shilliang Umshong SC in the eliminator two days later, setting up today’s second qualifier between Diengshynrum and R Shkenshynriah.
The title match will be held on 6th December at 1PM in the presence of Sports & Youth Affairs Minister Wailadmiki Shylla.
