Shillong, Mar 4: Rangkynsai SC defeated Lok Bhavan by 120 runs in Group B of the Shillong Cricket League Super Division 2026, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, in Polo yesterday.
Rangkynsai won the toss and batted first. They were able to score 253 in 42.1 overs before they were bowled out. Ajay Duhan made 60 from 93 deliveries and Kishan Lyngdoh 59 from 39. Ayushman Das took 5/31 in 6.1 overs for Lok Bhavan.
The second innings took just 28 overs as Lok Bhavan were all out for 133. Ayushman returned with the bat for 52 from 54 balls, while there were four-wicket spells for both Aryan Borah (4/18 in 6 overs) and Sudhir Sahani (4/38 in 7). Sudhir was named Player of the Match.
The semifinals will be held on 4th and 5th March. In the first, Royal CC will face Sporting CC today, followed by Rangkynsai versus Nongmensong CC tomorrow.
