Shillong, Apr 2: Langsning CC romped to a seven-wicket victory over Young Guns CC in the Super 8 stage of the 1st Late PA Sangma Memorial T20 Tournament, organised by the Shillong Cricket Association, at Polo Ground here today.
Langsning won the toss and elected to field first in the Group A match, which was the only game of the day.
Young Guns, who had won yesterday, underperformed with the bat for a total of 107 all out in 20 overs.
Angkit Tamang, Player of the Match the last time, made 24 from 19 balls and team mate Aditya Singh 25 from 34. Bishal Roy bagged 3/14 in 4 overs and Riboklang Hynniewta 2/12 in 3 for Langsning.
Bamanbha Shangpliang (53 from 43 deliveries) struck a half-century in the chase as Langsning lost three wickets on their way to victory in 13.4 overs. Bishal was named Player of the Match.
